As Gov. Andrew Cuomo noted earlier, attention at both the state and federal levels is starting to turn toward a dual track of both continuing to fight the coronavirus outbreak while also figuring out how to re-start the economy, which basically ground to a halt as a result of this pandemic.
Hundreds of thousands of people across the state are out of work, and while some of them will be able to return to their respective jobs when businesses reopen, others will not be so lucky.
That's where job retraining comes in.
SUNY Poly has been offering online credentialing for workforce development. This is offered at scale for employers and also for individuals who might want to pursue a career change as a result of the upheaval we have experienced.
